The building Forgotten Star Brew Co. calls home is an incredible space. Located in what used to be the boiler room for Northern Pump Company, it is a historic site deserving of praise and story making – and is a location where new stories will be made. The facility made water pumps for firefighting, but it was during World War II when it became a legend in manufacturing for our nation’s defense. The company became known as one of the most Excellent and Efficient around.
That motto drives the creation of outstanding beers and experiences at Forgotten Star. The brewery and taproom are at once expansive and inviting. Huge windows bring the outside in, and let beer fans soak in the industrial atmosphere of the area. There’s plenty of parking and access is easy from I-694. Fridley’s first brewery is a great addition to the city, and to the entire Twin Cities beer drinking community.
