From the stomping grounds of Babe the Blue Ox, and his legendary appetite for thirty bales of hay a day, we’re taking in the ingredients, the spirits and the people around us, and playing with the flavors that make the Midwest a place unlike any other.

Our menu is dedicated to fresh takes on regional classics and new dishes made using traditional cooking techniques like hay roasting, pickling and smoking. Wholesome, creative and made from scratch, it’s feelgood fare handcrafted with a distinctly Midwest state of mind.

At 30 Bales, we celebrate flavors and frivolity in equal measure and we don’t mind if it shows. Join us for drinks, brunch, lunch, linner, dinner and late-night bites beginning summer 2018.
