Darek Bell and Andrew Webber never set out to create traditional spirits. Experimenting through the creation of beer, wine and sake, they took the leap towards opening a distillery in Nashville, TN in 2008. Met with the restrictions of antiquated laws, Darek and Andrew fought legislation for 2 years, resulting in Corsair becoming the first distillery to open in Nashville since prohibition.
Corsair is one of the pioneers in the craft distilling world, pushing boundaries on the idea of what spirits can be. From the use of alternative grains to malting and smoking with unusual wood types, they have made new and interesting products that have never been created before
Corsair Distillery at Marathon is located within the bustling Marathon Village. Our first Nashville location is both an active distillery and taproom with 16 local beers, cocktail bar and fresh baked pizza from 312 Pizza Co. plus a tasting bar and bottle shop.
