Born of the rolling hills of an Iowa winery, we set out with a simple mission to create shockingly good beer, even if it meant bending a few rules along the way. Join us as we twist some vines, share the best of times and change minds—about what beer can and should be. We’re reformed working stiffs on a mission to hand-craft unique, palatable and unpretentious beers. A little tongue-in-cheek and perhaps too fond of coloring outside the lines, we believe in a community of fun-loving, open-minded imbibing. So grab a beer and spread some cheer, leave your troubles at the door and raise another pour.
Founded by Brian Sabus, Steve Becker, and Steve Breman (now retired), Twisted Vine Brewery has been brewing beer for over ten years, steadily expanding into multiple bars throughout Central Iowa in that time. In 2015, Jasen Garrett and Paul Galloway joined as partners. In 2020 we welcomed partners, Ron, Dalene and Rob. All avid homebrewers with a passion for creating great beer, we look forward to introducing more beer lovers throughout Iowa and the region to Twisted Vine Brewery.
